I'll dominate 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming bout.

Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, consistently making substantial financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters met for the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is really going ahead.
