Team—
I understand you all just completed your meeting - I trust you’re as excited as I am with the positive developments. Previously I sent you all a message, I stated the following: “I believe in this crew. You all are some of the most dedicated and talented designers we have had the pleasure to collaborate with - and we’re eager for that partnership to endure.”
Through your commitment and adaptability, especially over the last year, you continue to prove that.
The player input from last autumn’s the game playtest was revealing. It affirmed the promise of a action-packed game but told us we still had improvements to make. It revealed the need for a clearer vision.
It’s been inspiring to see how far you’ve progressed. You embraced the input to consideration and revamped the title with a revitalized goal - one that’s poised to fulfill its promise to our audience.
The belief in this project strengthens every day. To advance the outstanding development you’ve made, I am thrilled to welcome Ben Brinkman as the latest Lead of the team. After a period of discussions, he starts with us on Monday, October 20.
His guidance and expertise in the competitive gaming genre is considerable, having spent the past decade and a half developing and leading some of the most recognizable titles in gaming, such as the acclaimed shooter, and more recently, Apex Legends.
I invite you all in greeting him soon. We are all eager to persist witnessing the development of the game in the time to ahead.

Title Details and Vision
Project Ethos was announced in last year together with a early access event. Then, the developers portrayed the game as a "free-to-play, 3rd-person action-packed experience and an innovative step forward on the category."
"Create your ideal gameplay session—or face defeat—in this engaging over-the-shoulder adventure! Customize your character in real-time to fit your unique tactics," the game's pitch states. "Face the opponents with new abilities, challenges, and obstacles that evolve every round. Do you safely extract with your hard-earned loot? Or go big, risk it all, and pray your group can secure victory? The option is yours."
The game lacks an official debut schedule or consoles, but players can anticipate further news as development continues.
